I’m not going back to school! – Second week of August Giveaway

The winner for the first week’s give away, as selected by a random sequence number generator, is Wendi Watson!  Congratulations Wendi.

This week’s give away is for a set of fancy Yarn Owls, one small and one medium.  These Owls are made in a green silk dupioni with vintage lace and crushed velvet ribbon trim.   I have placed the embellishment where it should not interfere with the functionality of the Yarn Owls, i.e., to minimize the opportunity for the yarn to get entangled with the lace.  🙂

The inside of these Yarn Owls has a lovely cotton print of birds and leaves in a coordinating green on a white background.

Yarn Owls are designs to protect the yarn from tangles and other untoward events that can occur when yarn is left to roam freely.  The Owls are also designed so the yarn can be removed at any time.  If you are not familiar with Diana Couture’s products for knitters and crocheters, visit my Etsy shop to see the Yarn Owls and other design in my line of fabulously functional bags and necessities for yarn work.

My main reason for conducting this give away is to thank my loyal customers and fans of my Facebook page for sticking by me through the craziness of getting my masters degree.  However, if you are just finding out about Diana Couture, I am delighted!  You can learn  more about my products by vising my Etsy Shop, becoming a fan of Diana Couture on Facebook, or following me on Instagram.  My user name on Instagram is SewsandKnits.  I hope to see you around!

Comment on this post to be entered in the give-away.  Comments will close on August 17th at 12:00 p.m. CST.  See below for complete rules.

The prize of the week will be posted each Monday in August.  The comments will close the following Sunday at noon central time.  The drawings will take place and the winner notified.  Winners will have 48 hours to respond or the prize will pass to the runner up. Shipping on prizes is free.  However, because of variations of laws in other countries, this sweepstakes is limited to residents of the United States.  I didn’t want to do this, but I don’t see a way around it.  😦  Also, you must be over 18 years old to enter.

There is no purchase whatsoever required to enter, and you can enter each drawing by posting a comment on the weekly give-away post (one per person, please.)   You must provide your e-mail to comment.  The e-mail isn’t publicized on the blog, but I need it to contact you should you win a prize!

Comments will be numbered from 1-???, beginning with the oldest counting up to most recent comments. The winners will be selected using this random sequence generator.  The first number on the list is the winner.  The winner will have 48 hours to contact me with their address for shipping the prize.  After that time, the next person on the random sequence list will be contacted and down the list until a winner accepts the weeks’ prize.  Any comments that do not comply with the rules set out here will not be eligible to win the prize.

I am not using a third-party service but am conducting the sweepstakes myself.  I am committed to a random and fair give away.  By entering this sweepstakes, you acknowledge that you understand the process and agree with the terms and conditions outlined here.

Those are beautiful, and so useful! I bought a yarn owl at DFW Fiber Fest a few years ago, and use it all the time.
