After knitting SweaterBabe’s Talia vest pattern, I fell in love with her clear instructions and great style. I was excited to see she was having a Mystery Knit-a-Long (MKAL) on Ravelry for a new mohair scarf pattern. While participating in the MKAL, Katherine (SweaterBabe) asked me if I would be interested in donating prizes for the MKAL, which I was happy to do. SweaterBabe reviewed my Yarn Owls back in 2009 when they were new on the market. You can read her review here.
I opened an e-mail from SweaterBabe this week to see the photo of her beautiful scarves and my Yarn Owl promoting her give away.
The MKAL is coming to a close on Ravelry, but the pattern is available on SweaterBabe’s website. This beautiful and fun to knit scarf is cleverly called “Don’t Ruche Me, I’m Knitting.” Here is a photo of my work in progress. The yarn is Rowan’s Kidsilk Haze in the Ghost colorway.
